This month we are placing the spotlight on Recruitment and Staffing Coordinator Shelley who is based in Geelong, discover Shelley's adventurous side by checking out her Q&A below: ​ Tell us a bit about yourself I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, South East Asia and America and have been lucky enough to study and live in Ireland for 6 years and the UK for 2 years. Started working with VNS in 2014 working from the Geelong office on the waterfront, thanks to VNS I have a great work life balance which is important as I have two amazing little girls. ​ What is your role at VNS Nursing Agency Recruitment and Staffing Co-ordinator in the Geelong Office. ​ ​What do you love most about your job? Meeting new people and being able to match them with the perfect role that suits what they are looking for as well as what the company needs. ​ What do you see as the biggest opportunity for the nursing sector? Technology and how we use it to ensure patients are receiving the best possible care at all times. ​ Who’s someone you really admire? My children and their ability to adapt so quickly to anything especially in light of COVID, 6 months home schooling with me as their teacher and Restrictions and no problem at all and they keep smiling, I learn as much from them as they learn from me. ​ What do you like to do on your days off? Getting outside in the fresh air walking, running, jogging.
